Week 2 has come to an end marking another successful week for GoldPieces/GP. This week has had it’s share of ups and downs as far as the market is concerned, we saw as low as 4.2k satoshi, and as high as 9k satoshi! With a growing marketcap of 41 BTC GoldPieces is making leaps and bounds and standing strong for such a new coin thrown in the wild west of digital currency trading we are all so glued to.

Our games are coming more and more complete in terms of development, story line, and art. Recently released was a GoldPieces/GP Dice Gambling game that lets the players place bets and see if they can beat the odds to make more money than they came in with. Week 1 GoldPieces: A Recap

Well its been a great week for GoldPieces. We went from 0 to here! The coin is stable and everything is margin.

Mining

We finished the mining period up at around 770k coins. At one point there was 65GHz on the network! It was a fair linear mining period and it looks to be a solid distribution to the interested parties.

Exchanges

We quickly launched on C-Cex.com the same day we started mining. I think this helped keep the coins distributed to people wanting to own some but not wanting to mine. After C-Cex we were added to YoBit.net and then Bittrex.com as well. The coins topped out at about 10k so far and has sunk as low as 2.5k satoshi.

Services

I have been working on the first game, it’s a social virtual pet site type game but with battling/pvp aspects, it’s called Halhan.com and is currently in development. The GP withdrawals and deposits are working now it’s mostly just content being created we’re waiting on.

There is also.. an awesome new block explorer, a goldpieces faucet, and you also can play blackjack with gp. and much to be imagined.

Mining comes to and end for GoldPieces/GP. We’re now a purely staking currency!

Today the GoldPieces mining period ended on block 10,080 with a final total supply of 770,000 coins! This means that GP is now a purely staking coin. The coin stakes at a rate of 500% anually, this rate will be adjusted on January 9th, 2016 to reduce coin inflation leaving us at a total supply of around 3,800,000 coins after 1 year!

We thank all who participated in the mining and distribution of this coin, we look forward to making 2015 a great year with many successful years to follow! As you know we plan on releasing several games that use GP as the in-game currency as well as integrating with existing games to facilitate cash shop transactions. Players and investors will love having lots of places to choose from when they look to put their GP to use.

Hey guys, lots of progress has been made with GoldPieces in the last couple days. We have found ourselves being accepted and trading on three exchanges!

This is great news for the coins economy is expanding and evolving as we hoped. There is much to be done now to further the development of GP. This is just the first step in many to building a truly innovative and useful coin for gamers and investors alike. What Are GoldPieces/GP?

GoldPieces are an expandable digital currency for online browser based games, just as the tag line suggest! GP was created to be used as the currency in online games. Though it may be used for such things as buying and selling game cards in the future, its main focus is to be used as the actual in-game currency for online multiplayer games such as Virtual Pet Sites, Mafia Style Browser Games, an Browser Based Medieval/Fantast RPG that is being developed by the creators. While many of the first round of games released that utilize GP may be launched by the projects founders, it is built in a way that it could be implemented by existing games, or integrated in your next online game project.
